Leavin' on a jet plane....

Well,tomorrow when we head for China and Sophie.And yes I did get packed.It took me all day but I did it.It was tough going for the first hour or so with all my packing and repacking.I think I did Sophie's suitcase 5 times.So in frustration I told David if he was as rich as people think he is then all I should have to pack is my toothbrush and a pair of underwear,extra socks and toothbrush and he could go buy me what I needed when we landed in Hong Kong.Then I thought 'Nope cant do that either since I would never find clothes to fit me.Seems Chinese are lot smaller then the average woman here in the states.' It took me all day to pack and David?....it took him all of 30 minutes! I was ready to strangle that man!
Anyways.....we have our tickets,passports,camera,batteries,Ipods,motion sickness meds,some snacks and of course my extra underwear,socks and toothbrush.Mom has phone numbers,power of attorney,gas card grocery money,directions to shopping(the most important places like JoAnn's Fabric,the quilting store,Sam's Club and Target)and schools.I have a feeling that Annalisa thinks 'going to China' is an overnight kinda trip. We have a webcam set up here at home so we can talk to the kids....that's the plan anyway,hope the silly things work when we want them to.I also hope the weather holds out for mom and doesn't snow.
I am nervous about the whole trip.About the flying and of course about being handed a 2 1/2 yr old.At this age they already a personality with lots of likes and dislikes and definate opinions about life in gereral.I have nghtmares about the first days and nights with her.I dream that all she does is cry and try to escape from the hotel room.I am thinking it is good I think the worst and hope for the best.There is no way I could be blessed with two very easy going babies is there? well ....we shall see in about 3 days.Keep your fingers crossed!
