Countdown......

Well, 7 more days to go till we leave for Hong Kong and 10 more days till we have Sophie.And you ask "Carol are packed yet?" and my answer is "NOPE" and should I at least have Sophie's bag packed? Well,yes I guess I should but like I said before I sit and look at the pile of clothes and other things to pack and my brain goes blank. Just plain blank! Do I need to pack all this stuff? And David.....well he just drives me nuts.He is taking one bag and his backpack. One bag!!! How can he do that? Anyway....I keep reading about how bad the weather is in China right now and how alot of the orphanges are having problems with no heat or running water.I have not been albe to find out much about the orphange in Nanchang where Sophie is though.I heard one report that Nanchang wasnt hit as har das some of the other palces.I hope this is true.I hate to think that the baby is sitting in a place with very little or no heat at all.But I am sure that the nannies are doing the best they can with what they have.I just have my fingers crossed that she is healthy and warm.
